Reporting concerns and asking questions helps HCSC to address issues quickly and thoroughly and is critical to supporting our core values.
To help employees understand and apply these principles, HCSC has developed the Code of Ethics and Conduct (the Code) which sets out basic guiding principles. All employees are expected to review the Code, abide by it and report a concern of potential violation of the Code, as well as any applicable law, policy or regulation.
While your Supervisor may be your first and best resource for questions or concerns about behaviors that may potentially be in violation of the Code, a law, policy or regulation, you may choose other Corporate Resources, including anyone in management or in the Ethics & Compliance Department.
The web reporting tool and hotline options are hosted by NAVEX, a third-party vendor. With each option, you may choose to identify yourself or remain anonymous. In situations where you prefer to remain anonymous, you are encouraged to use the hotline or this web reporting tool. Your report will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law and HCSC’s need to fully investigate the matter. Only those with a need to know will be involved in or be informed of the investigation.
The information you provide via the web reporting tool or hotline will be sent to HCSC by NAVEX confidentially and if you choose, it will be sent anonymously. This web reporting site or the hotline can be used to follow up on an existing report.
HCSC prohibits retaliatory action against any individual for good faith participation in the compliance program including seeking information or guidance, reporting potential issues or participating in an investigation.
